    The Recovery Act is putting citizens of the Eleventh District back to work, assisting those who are out of work, providing support to our students, and protecting our small businesses.

    The Recovery Act has:

    • Given 212,000 families in the Eleventh District a tax cut;
    • Given over $400 million in tax credits to purchase their first home across Ohio;
    • Injected over $6 billion directly into Ohio's economy;
    • Reinforced our local school districts with over $1.5 billion in funding;
    • Retrained our workers for the new economy with over $100 million in work force development funding; And
    • Helped families in the Cleveland-Area stay in warm and safe homes with over $139 million for housing.
