2012 CONGRESSIONAL ART COMPETITION WINNERS ANNOUNCED May 14, 2012
WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH.- Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) is pleased to announce winners of the Eleventh District Congressional Art Competition. The Best in Show winner is Marcus Billingsley, a student at the Cleveland School of the Arts, Cleveland Metropolitan School District (CMSD). Marcus and winners from each Congressional District around the country will have their artwork displayed for one year in the U.S. Capitol and have the opportunity to attend a reception in their honor in Washington D.C. More than 200 works of art were entered, showing the extraordinary talent, depth and artistic achievements of high school students in the Eleventh District. Throughout the month of May, the artwork will be on display at the Martin Luther King Jr. Branch of the Cleveland Public Library, located at 1962 Stokes Boulevard in Cleveland. Congresswoman Fudge extends her congratulations and appreciation to all of the students who participated. See below for winners in individual categories and Marcus' Best In Show drawing.
