News reporters and photographers are welcome to cover the event.

The event kicks off a project initiated by Congresswoman Fudge’s office.  Elementary schools throughout the 11thCongressional District of Ohio have been invited to reach out to veterans with a Valentine’s Day message of caring.

“As Americans, we should all convey our thanks to the brave men and women who have selflessly and courageously served our Nation,” said Congresswoman Fudge.  “Presently, there are 562 patients at the Medical Center, and it is my goal to make sure that all of those veterans receive a greeting card on Valentine's Day. It is a small act of kindness for those who have given so much to preserve our freedom.”
