REP. FUDGE ON A MISSION TO HELP TROOPS INJURED IN COMBAT- TOURS CLEVELAND BIOTECH FIRM
October 18, 2010

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OHIO-- Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (D-OH11) will join Don Brown, CEO of Arteriocyte, and Baiju Shah, President of BioEnterprise, at the Arteriocyte Open House on Tuesday, October 19th.

Arteriocyte is a clinical stage Biotechnology company committed to bringing more wounded troops home safely. It currently develops proprietary stem cell and tissue engineering based therapies using multiple sources of adult derived stem cells (i.e. marrow, peripheral cord blood, and cartilage) to treat diseases where surgical interventions are inadequate. Its technological innovations may save the lives and limbs of wounded soldiers by preventing amputations, infection, and treating burns efficiently. Congresswoman Fudge supported Arteriocyte's innovative efforts to help our troops with a $2.5 million FY 2010 appropriations.

"Arteriocyte is leading potential lifesaving research while providing jobs here in Northeast Ohio. This is a win for our community and a win for America's troops," said Congresswoman Fudge. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to tour this new facility."
