OHIO RECEIVES $19 MILLION IN GRANTS FOR PROFESSIONAL TRAINING IN HEALTH CARE, BIOSCIENCE, AND ADVANCED MANUFACTURING February 12, 2010
WASHINGTON, DC—Representative Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) applauded the Department of Labor’s release of $225 million in Recovery Act grants to train displaced and underemployed workers for jobs in health care and other high growth fields. Ohio will receive $19 million to provide training in nursing, allied health care, long-term care, health information technology, logistics, bioscience, and advanced manufacturing. |
