Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge Announces Appointment of

Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Director

WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) released the following statement regarding the appointment of Eyang N. Garrison as Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Director:

“I am pleased to announce the appointment of Eyang Garrison as Deputy Chief of Staff/Legislative Director.  Ms. Garrison has held several positions at the U. S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), including serving as a Legislative Analyst in the Office of Congressional Relations.  Most recently, she served as a SNAP Program Analyst for USDA’s Food and Nutrition Service, where she focused on issues related to program eligibility and disaster assistance; provided technical assistance on SNAP policy, and developed program guidance and support materials, among other responsibilities.  Prior to joining USDA, she advocated for the Federal child nutrition programs at the Food Research and Action Center (FRAC).

“A graduate of The University of Oklahoma, Eyang also has over five years of legislative experience in the House of Representatives administering a mixed portfolio focused on anti-hunger/poverty issues. Eyang has a clear understanding of the diverse issues affecting the 11^th Congressional District and I welcome her help in leading the legislative agenda and serving the people of our District.”
