Rep. Fudge Statement on President’s Authorization of Military Strikes on Syria

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS -Today, Congresswoman Fudge released the following statement on the President’s authorization of military strikes on Syria:

“No one condones the use of chemical weapons, and we should condemn Bashar al-Assad and Syria for using them against their own people.  However, the use of military force can only be authorized by the Congress of the United States.  I hope to hear the President’s plans going forward, and I look forward to a full military briefing upon our return to Washington.”
