REP. FUDGE APPOINTS DISTRICT OUTREACH COORDINATOR FOR SUMMIT COUNTY December 27, 2017
WASHINGTON – Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) announced today the appointment of Dr. Joan M. Williams as her new District Outreach Coordinator for Summit County. Dr. Williams will be based in Congresswoman Fudge’s Summit County office and will begin her duties effective Tuesday, January 2. Dr. Williams brings more than two decades of experience building sustainable community partnerships. As Outreach Coordinator, she will manage day-to-day operations of the district office in Summit County, assist constituents and community stakeholders with concerns regarding federal government issues and programs, and serve as a liaison to other district staff. “I am pleased to welcome Dr. Williams to my staff and introduce the community to my newest representative in Summit County. She brings a wealth of knowledge, talent, and the leadership skills that will help complement our work on behalf of the constituents of the 11th Congressional District,” said Congresswoman Fudge. Dr. Williams earned her bachelor’s degree from Colgate University, a master’s degree in education from SUNY College at Brockport, a master’s degree in social work from Columbia University, and a doctorate from Alliance Theological Seminary. She most recently served as Executive Director of Beth-Hark Christian Counseling Center, and is a Licensed Minister of Counseling. ### |
