WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH  – Today, Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) issued the following statement on the appointment of Dr. Margaret McKenzie as President of South Pointe Hospital:

"I commend Cleveland Clinic for naming Dr. Margaret McKenzie President of South Pointe Hospital, and congratulate Dr. McKenzie on her appointment.

"South Pointe Hospital is a critical health care provider in the 11th Congressional District.  For 60 years, the hospital has been a staple in the Warrensville Heights community, and its world-class medical professionals, state-of-the art facilities, and quality, specialized care has saved lives. 

"Dr. McKenzie has a proven record of service and commitment to the people of Northeast Ohio through her years of work with the Cleveland Clinic. She has inspired doctors of tomorrow, educated the community on their health, and improved the lives of women and families, all while leading Cleveland Clinic's Department of General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
