Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge Appoints New 11th Congressional District Director, Jasmine D. Rowan, Esq. February 22, 2017
WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH – Today, Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) announced the appointment of Jasmine D. Rowan, Esq. as Director of her 11th Congressional District offices.
“I am pleased to welcome Jasmine to my team,” said Congresswoman Fudge. “As a native of the 11th District, Jasmine has strong ties to our community and brings a unique understanding of the concerns of our constituents. She knows firsthand our challenges and frustrations, and shares many of the same experiences.”
Ms. Rowan has dedicated much of her life to Northeast Ohio. She grew up and attended schools in Richmond Heights, received her Bachelor of Arts from Case Western Reserve University, and served as a social worker in Cuyahoga County.
"I am excited to return home to be with family and serve my community,” said Ms. Rowan. “I am fully vested in assisting the Congresswoman as she does ‘the people's work' for the 11th District of Ohio."
As District Director, Ms. Rowan will lead the staff and assume the day-to-day operations and management of congressional offices in Cuyahoga and Summit counties. She will also serve as the local spokesperson for Congresswoman Fudge.
Congresswoman Fudge continued, “Jasmine brings a strong background in public service and administration, fiscal management and planning, and the law. She will be an asset to my office and all of our citizens. I look forward to working with her and am confident she will serve the district with distinction.”
