WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) announced new subcommittee assignments for the 115^th Congress.  Continuing her service on the House Committees on Education and the Workforce and Agriculture, Congresswoman Fudge holds new positions on both.

Congresswoman Fudge will serve as Ranking Member of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Conservation and Forestry.  With jurisdiction over policies related to resource conservation and forests, and oversight of operations within the Farm Service Agency, the Subcommittee plays a major role in the success of our nation’s farmlands and preservation of our natural resources.

Congresswoman Fudge will also join the House Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor, and Pensions (HELP). HELP monitors key issue areas for our nation’s workers including relationships between employees and employers, pensions and retirement security, employee benefits, bargaining, and fair labor laws.

In addition, Congresswoman Fudge will remain a Member of the House Agriculture Subcommittee on Nutrition and the House Education and the Workforce Subcommittee on Early Childhood, Elementary and Secondary Education.
