WARRENVSILLE HEIGHTS, OH – Today, Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) presented the Bronze Star Medal, posthumously, to former 11th Congressional District resident Milton J. Rosenberg of the 465th AAA AW Battalion of the United States Army. Mr. Rosenberg’s son Harvey accepted the award. “It is an honor to present this Bronze Star Medal to the Rosenberg family,” said Congresswoman Fudge. “In 1945, Milton Rosenberg saved the life of a comrade by administering first aid and carrying the injured soldier to safety. Mr. Rosenberg thought quickly and acted selflessly; he was an exemplary soldier and embodied the spirit of a true patriot.” Congresswoman Fudge presented the Bronze Star Medal at her Cuyahoga County Office in Warrensville Heights, Ohio. The Bronze Star is awarded to members of the United States Armed Forces for heroic or meritorious achievement or service while in combat.
