WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH - Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) released the following statement after the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) awarded $14,022,084 to organizations, public agencies, and entities in the 11^th Congressional District:

“Public investments, like those in the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) recent grant announcement, are vital to the safety, security, and protection of Northeast Ohio. Our nation is at a critical juncture; we must do all we can to fight against terrorism – at home and abroad – and save lives.

“Thanks to DHS, 11th Congressional District recipients will create new programs, build upon existing best practices, and develop more innovative ways to keep all residents safe. I applaud each recipient for their efforts and congratulate them on receiving these funds.”
