Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge Announces $250,000 Awarded to Northeast Ohio Arts Organizations December 11, 2015
WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH - Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) released the following statement after the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) awarded $250,000 to 11 Northeast Ohio arts organizations: “I am pleased the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) has recognized the importance of arts and culture to the Northeast Ohio community. The arts promote opportunities for Ohio families, spurring imagination, creating new experiences, and fostering the development of new ideas. Thanks to the NEA, 11th Congressional District recipients will expand and continue to provide valuable programs and initiatives in our communities. Join me in congratulating each of them.” The NEA awarded a total of $27.7 million in grants in the first round of funding for FY 2016.
