WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH– Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) issued the following statement regarding the release of three reports in the investigation of the fatal shooting 12-year-old Tamir Rice:

“On Saturday, Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Tim McGinty released three reports, commissioned at his request, in the investigation of the fatal shooting of 12-year-old Tamir Rice.  While the findings of these investigative reports are not determinative of the ultimate outcome of this case, it concerns me that these reports were released prior to review by a grand jury. 

“I urge Prosecutor McGinty to get this case to a grand jury as soon as possible.  It must be his highest priority.”
