Congresswoman Marcia Fudge Recognizes Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur
September 11, 2015

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, OH – In anticipation of the upcoming holiday, Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) recognizes Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur and wishes the Jewish community a Happy New Year:

“Rosh Hashanah is a time for prayer, renewal, and repentance.  The holiday begins a 10-day period ending with Yom Kippur.  During this time, Jewish families across the 11th Congressional district reflect on the past year and look forward to the next to come.

“As Rosh Hashanah begins, I pray for peace and blessings, and wish members of the Jewish community a Happy New Year.  May 5776 be a year of joy and good fortune for the Jewish community in our state, nation, and around the globe.

"L'Shanah Tovah U'Metukah - May you have a happy, sweet New Year.”
