WASHINGTON, DC – Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) issued the following statement after voting no on Congressman Howard McKeon’s amendment to arm and train Syrian rebels:

“My vote against Congressman McKeon’s amendment to provide funds to arm and train Syrian rebels was a tough decision.  I agree with a majority of Americans who support airstrikes against ISIS.  I support President Obama’s decision to continue airstrikes as needed and believe that is the most appropriate response at this time.”
