CLEVELAND -- Congresswoman Marcia Fudge has assumed a key role in trying to unify political players pushing for Cuyahoga County government reform.

She told Tom Beres, she became involved in the issue because so many political players and segments of the community were not part of the proposals being discussed.

She had to be convinced that any reform proposal would result in real reform, less corruption and more efficient services that would create jobs and save money.

She says meetings are making headway and predicts a meeting next week will decide if there's enough broad support for one proposal to launch a petition drive for a measure to be on the November ballot. See below for the interview with Tom Beres.
