Commencement speaker announced

Central State University selected U.S. Rep. Marcia Fudge, D-Cleveland, as the commencement speaker for the May 10 ceremony. The commencement will be at 10 a.m. at the Dayton Convention Center, 22 E. Fifth Street, Dayton. Tickets are not required.

Fudge was instrumental to Central State receiving federal land grant status when the Farm Bill passed the U.S. Congress earlier this year, according to the university.
