CONGRESSWOMAN FUDGE TO SPEAK ABOUT THE IMPORTANCE OF RAISING THE MINIMUM WAGE Warrensville Heights, OH – Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge (OH-11) will participate in a news conference to discuss the importance of raising the federal minimum wage on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 10am at Trinity Cathedral. The Congresswoman is a co-sponsor of H.R. 1010, legislation that would gradually raise the federal minimum wage to $10.10 per hour. The news conference is hosted by Progress Ohio and will also include labor and faith-based leaders as well as a minimum wage workers who will describe the difficulties of meeting ever increasing costs of basics such as food, housing and transportation.
